IT’S FINALLY HERE! The true full size of my “do you love the colour of the sky HD remake director’s cut” tumblr post

This ended up being 2 ¾ inches wide by 36 FEET LONG.

The 2 ¾ inch width was chosen because that’s the same width as a pretty average phone screen, and I wanted to know how physically far you have to scroll to get past this post.

also dont tell my boss that I got into the art gallery before we opened just to set up this rainbow CVS receipt looking motherfucker. in my defense i literally couldn’t find any other location that was long enough to show this off

Please consider subscribing to my Patreon to gain access to my original content a week before its posted on tumblr!

reblogging this because the og post is suddenly getting a bunch of notes and i want everyone to see just how long this motherfucker is in real life

that is impressively long omg

also you all should be so grateful I never reblogged that post because WOW

people get so confused trying to figure out the Lois/Clark/Superman situation that somehow they come to the conclusion that Clark is cheating on Lois with Superman

I mean Lois clearly has nothing to hide, everyone from here to Krypton’s seen Superman fly her with a chaste hand around her waist. but Clark puts an awful lot of effort into making sure no one ever gets a pic of him and Superman together

what is he worried Lois will see

people shake their heads sadly every time Superman visits the Daily Planet and then Clark emerges from a closet disheveled and tucking his shirt back into his pants. but if Lois won’t see it there’s nothing they can do

When Lois finds out she thinks it’s hilarious, and when someone finally tries to ‘break it to her’, she’s all ready.

“Oh, I know.”

“You… know?”

“Neither of them would ever lie to me.”

“So… *gears frantically spinning* this is like some kind of threesome thing?”

“Oh! No, no, no, absolutely not. *Lois pauses and grins the most lascivious grin she can produce* I just… watch.”

Clark gets a lot of very weird looks that day that he can’t understand at all.

@elidyce no, no, no. don’t hide a shit-stirring bruce and chaotic lois in the tags. this is an important addition, too. just gives that final touch that’s dearly needed to really complete this, y’know?

LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOO

do note that this will probably mean US phones will follow this standard as well, as manufacturing streams are much easier to maintain as streamlined as possible, and having two separate standards like this makes it more of an expensive hassle for a company

this is also known as the Brussels Effect, where a regulation in one part of the world (usually the EU) results in new global standards.

please let this jump to laptops and tablets and everything else

Source (the one screenshotted at the top of the post):

For "portable batteries” used in devices such as smartphones, tablets, and cameras, consumers must be able to “easily remove and replace them.” This will require a drastic design rethink by manufacturers, as most phone and tablet makers currently seal the battery away and require specialist tools and knowledge to access and replace them safely.

Apple has already been forced by the European Union to change from a Lightning port to a USB-C port on iPhones, with the iPhone 15 expected to be the first to make the switch. Now it seems Apple will need to figure out how to allow access to the battery inside future iPhones, as will every other smartphone manufacturer.

The new rules also stipulate strict targets for collecting waste and recovering materials from old batteries. The percentages for each increase at set intervals between now and 2031, at which point 61% waste collection must be achieved and 95% of materials must be recovered from old portable batteries. There will also be minimum levels of recycled content used in new batteries required, but only “eight years after the entry into force of the regulation.”“

Oh hell yeah!!! I can’t fucking wait!

ALL my android phones up until like 2018 easily opened up in the back so i could replace the battery myself and the fact that went away has been INFURIATING. i cannot WAIT to be able to change my own battery again.
